MY LANGUAGE LEARNING JOURNEY I have always been fascinated with languages and took language classes in school. In grade 3, the most spoken languages in Nigeria were offered which were Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, I studied them and will say we all had advantages as Nigerians because we could get input from so many places. Either our parents were bilingual or polyglots or had relatives who could speak them or literally anyone. Because there were lots of scenarios, instances, people and culture, we were surrounded by opportunities at every corner so it wasn’t hard to practice and figure these languages out plus most of us already heard these languages a lot of times and could differentiate them. Right now, I can speak Hausa, understand Yoruba (but not speak), as for Igbo, I don’t think I was really into it. Hey! Welcome home🤍 I'm Nabila , you can also call me Beela , Queen Beela or just QB for short. I am an artist , software developer, writer and podcaster . I love poetry, music and fantasy C-dramas. This blog will be about sharing my experiences, what I've learnt, been up to and literally my thoughts. SOME THINGS ABOUT ME: 1. Language learning - Korean: I started learning Korean during COVID-19 in 2020 when I zapped into it by Wattpad. I saw a book that said Korean vocabulary, tapped it, read it and kind of got interested but that wasn't the main reason why I started learning Korean. There is a particular resin Korean YouTuber called 쪼만한 (Jjomanhan), whenever I would hear her speak Korean, I always wondered how such an angelic language exists. Daily Routine (of a primary school student) 我每天夜里10点睡觉和早上6点睡醒。 Everyday, I sleep at 10:00 PM and wake up at 6:00 AM. 我刷牙和浴。 I brush my teeth and bath. 妈妈做饭早饭为我。 Mum makes breakfast for me. 我长喜欢她的饭菜。 I always enjoy her food. 然后，我筹备为学校。 Then, I get ready for school. 中学校我们有很多课。 In school we have a lot of classes. 老师给了我们作业。 The teacher gave us homework. 以后学校，公共汽车去了我们家。 After school, the bus took us home. 晚上，我看了电视和我的家。 In the evening, I watched TV with my family. 中夜里10点，我睡觉了。 At 10:00 PM, I slept.
